While we have been to the zoo several times since Gretchen came home, she never has her eyes open. She always sleeps through the entire zoo trip. I think the movement of the stroller keeps her sleepy. However, on Friday, I happened to look in the stroller and I saw two big blue eyes looking up at me. Kaelyn was very excited! She began "showing" everything around us to Gretchen. When she is older, I am sure that Gretchen will be as enthralled with the zoo as her big sister. For now, we will just be happy that her eyes were open for a few minutes.
