Kaelyn has always liked to swim. When she was younger, she would jump in the pool whether or not there was someone there to catch her. However, this summer, she has really been afraid of the water and needs someone to hold on to while in the pool. With two kids now, it is not always possible for me to hold her in the pool. This is why I let go of her while we were swimming the other day. She was screaming that she would sink if I let go, but I explained to her that, with her floaties, she would definitely not sink. After a few seconds of panic, she began swimming all around the pool. Now we just have to figure a way to get her out of the water!
