Happy Halloween! The North Girls dressed up as Shirley Temple, a monkey, and a chicken this year. We went to Grandma and Grandpa North's house and trick-or-treated in their neighborhood.

Doesn't Kaelyn look great! She was thrilled with her costume. I think she looked so sweet. She was so excited to trick-or-treat this year. It was hard to keep up with her while going from house to house!

This cute little monkey refused to walk. So, Brian pushed her around the neighborhood in the little car at Grandma and Grandpa's house. I did make her walk up to the doors to get her candy. As soon as she got her candy, she made a beeline for the car. What a nut!
Gretchen did warm my heart while we were trick-or-treating. She is fascinated with the moon. So, when she saw the moon while we were out, she pointed to it and said "moon outside. I outside with the moon, Mama." I have never seen a child so thrilled to be outside when the moon was in the sky!

This little chicken did not enjoy any part of Halloween. She did not like wearing her costume and, when we took her to the zoo, she did not enjoy trick-or-treating. So, she stayed with Grandma and Grandpa while her sisters were out collecting candy. She was much happier staying indoors. Of course, I don't think she minded being the center of attention for a couple of hours!
Another Halloween is in the books. Let the candy eating begin!
