Our Family Motto

I always tell the girls (mostly just Kaelyn at this point) that they do not have to like everyone they meet in life, but they do have to be kind to everyone. In fact, I tell them that I know they are not going to like everyone they meet in life. There is never an excuse to be unkind. To this end, Brian and I try to model this motto on a daily basis.

So, when I found this magnet at Kroger this afternoon, I just had to buy it and put it up on the refrigerator. Now we have a daily reminder that kindness is our daily goal.
